I photographed weddings for a few years, which was a masterclass in watching and waiting. It taught me how to capture fast-paced, unscripted action without distracting from the moment. I bring that exact same approach to covering corporate and community events, whether I'm shooting locally or on the road. The main focus is on documenting the real atmosphere, speakers, and crowd energy exactly as it happens—though of course, I can always step in to get those classic group shots as needed.
Fly on the Wall
Whether I’m out in an open-pit mine, chasing climbers up a wall, or hanging back at a corporate gala, being a fly on the wall is always my goal. I prefer to let the action dictate the photos, rather than the other way around.
