COMMERCIAL

Lifestyle

The most compelling images usually come from authentic connections. In my commercial lifestyle photography, I focus on capturing unscripted, natural moments that feel genuine rather than posed. Whether we're documenting outdoor adventures or the quiet, everyday interactions that define a company's culture, my goal is to create visual narratives that feel real and deeply human—whether we're shooting near my home base in Bismarck, North Dakota, or traveling further afield.

Product

Product photography can take a lot of different forms depending on what the project needs. Sometimes it’s a clean, simple shot on a plain background to highlight the details, and other times the product is captured right alongside a lifestyle shoot to show how it's actually used. I’ve shot a little bit of everything over the years—with a heavy focus on food and drink—and this gallery is just a mix of the different ways I approach highlighting what a brand creates.

Agriculture

Agriculture is deeply tied to my roots. With my uncle being a fourth-generation farmer and rancher in central North Dakota, I grew up spending a lot of time out in the country. While I definitely don't know everything about the industry, shadowing my cousin showed me exactly how much hard work goes into that daily routine. I have a ton of respect for the folks doing the work. Because of that background, whether I’m photographing livestock, machinery, or the people keeping things running across North Dakota, agriculture is a subject I feel personally connected to and something I truly enjoy shooting.

Natural Moments

My commercial work leans heavily on natural moments, but my documentary portfolio is where things get completely unscripted.
