I fell into this niche photography somehow. I didn't even know what I was doing the first couple times. All I knew is that it looked cool. It wasn't until one of my photography professors described it as "abstract" that I knew what to call it. And I know that most people get this picture in their mind of how deep abstract work is but personally, I'd like you to know that almost all of the photos below were lit with my phone flashlights in my bathroom.
